Find out more about Trophy!
Sarah Bolling is a writer and editor based in New York City. Her work is fueled by her quadruplicate love of the uncanny, the campy, the sumptuous, and the sordid.
Darren Brockes is a writing instructor in Chicago, but you'll be forgiven for mistaking him as the shadow lingering in the corner. If he's writing, it's likely under duress or the influence of something otherworldly. He also famously owns a print copy of Trophy Dark.
Jordan Carter is an educator, writer, editor, and professional Game Master. He lives in Edmonton, and really does still believe in Santa Claus.
Ben Mansky is a science consultant, layout artist, and occasional fortune-teller who writes tabletop roleplaying games as Foresight Studio. His work has appeared in Public Access, The Silt Verses RPG, The Between, Triangle Agency, and scientific journals he can no longer access.
Mike Martens designs digital experiences and analog games – occasionally winning awards for them. One of the first writers for Trophy, he has since twisted his roots in the system into games like Sunken and The Wassailing of Claus Manor.
Blaine C. Martin is a poet, podcaster, and game designer living in the Philadelphia area. His work can be found in Trophy Loom, Gauntlet Codex, and Sprigs & Kindling. Greetings from Stability and You Are Not Alone can be found wherever you listen to podcasts.
Amanda Mullins is the editor-in-chief of Sprigs & Kindling, an anthology zine of creative works from the Carved from Brindlewood Community. She does data analysis and statistics in Edmonton, Canada, and would like to personally say hi to your pets.
We are an Indigenous-owned tabletop board game and roleplaying game store located on Treaty 6 territory in the city of Edmonton. We are dedicated to creating an inclusive space for anyone to enjoy the hobby.
Gabriel Robinson discovered game design during a ritual in the Kalduhr forest and never turned back. He has contributed to the core Trophy books, published two Rooted in Trophy games (Candlelight and Token) and co-wrote the upcoming The Piper’s Call with Jesse Ross. He is also the co-writer of The Silt Verses RPG and a frequent contributor to games published by The Gauntlet.
Jesse Ross is a tabletop game designer, graphic designer, and illustrator from Minneapolis. He is the creator of Trophy and Sunset Kills, co-creator of Girl Underground and R’lyehwatch, and has contributed to many other games and and gaming supplements. He likes to draw monsters and is still waiting for his superpowers to manifest. Jesse can be found on Bluesky as jesseross.com, and his games can be found at hedgemazepress.com and trophyrpg.com.
Brian Sago has written and illustrated a number of Rooted in Trophy games, including Butter Princess and Pick Me, as well as illustrating the ritual cards for Trophy. As an artist, writer, and teacher, some days he does all three and forgets to go for a walk.
Sean Tibbitts is a data analyst and writer who lives in Northern California with his husband and their neurotic pit bull, Mordenkainen. He is a frequent contributor to the Sprigs & Kindling TTRPG anthology zine, which recently published his Trophy Dark incursion "Into the Wildwood.
Mads C. Turley coordinates by day, and then spends time writing like their Rooted in Trophy incursion The Lovely Somnolent, playing/running TTRPGs, or editing video for their YouTube actual-play channel Madelancholy. Welcoming folks into the haunted forest with different voices is a favorite hobby.
Michael Van Vleet contributed to Trophy Dark, Trophy Gold and Trophy Loom, notably with "A Warm and Pleasant Hum." He's also the creator of Devil, Aim For Me and Die, Grave Robber, Die!, both Rooted in Trophy. Keen-eyed readers will find his name in various Gauntlet projects as well as on the Ennie Award-winning The Wassailing of Claus Manor.
Arthur Wells is an actual play performer with a number of different studios, game designer under Versipellis Games, and layout artist for Sprigs & Kindling. Their work focuses in on community, melancholy, and the things left in our wakes.
